Charge/Discharge Cycle Testing Inspection Equipment
- Advanced Battery Tester ADBT5-10 (ESPEC)
A "thermostatic chamber with charge/discharge function" specialized for cycle testing of cells, which has been introduced almost exclusively by cell manufacturers and public evaluation organizations. Independent structure of three chambers. Charge/discharge voltage/current and ambient temperature can be set for each of the three chambers, and can be recorded along with the cell surface temperature.
It can also be used in efforts to reduce waste batteries by supplemental charging of long-term inventory, and can be used to sort out inert batteries (does not guarantee the quality of cells supplimentally charged). Safety features are also provided for events during testing.
- Cylinder 18650 to 21700 size cells: 24 cells x 3 baths (maximum 72 cells can be tested simultaneously)

Charge/discharge testing equipment for packs that have become increasingly large in recent years, such as 24 V and 48 V. Capable of evaluating power system applications such as AGVs and forklifts, large portable power supplies, energy storage applications, and large lead-acid batteries. Safety features are provided in consideration of events during testing of large packs.

No need for pre-charging, measurement in approx. 10 sec. Simultaneous measurement of internal impedance and cell voltage is possible.

Internal impedance and open circuit voltage can be measured simultaneously; range configuration for measurement of large cells for xEVs (electric vehicles) and medium-sized packs up to 100 V.

It is possible to measure time-series data and observe continuous temperature changes by heating from room temperature. It is possible to identify the heat-generating parts of rechargeable battery packs and charging boards.

Test equipment to evaluate the system when energy charged on human body/objects is discharged into a battery pack, enabling performance evaluation of malfunction/function degradation of battery packs and chargers powered by AC/DC.
